Black-Chinned Hummingbird

Description

Dad captured this black-chinned hummingbird image in my garden in Arizona.  With the flowers already in place, all Dad had to do was set up an outdoor “studio” and stop the action.  He used a custom-designed ring of Cannon Speedlite flashes to illuminate the sparkling feathers of this little guy.  The strobes also allowed Dad to not only stop the wing action, but also keep everything on the bird crisply in focus.
