While on a trip to Ketchikan, Alaska, Dad visited the Deer Mountain Tribal Hatchery and Eagle Center.  This eagle broke its wing and lived at the Center because it was unable to survive in the wild.

The Eagle Center closed in December of 2012 due to a decrease in government funds.  But this eagle, along with his buddies, found a new home at the Alaska Raptor Center in Sitka.
