Description

This egret and her babies live in a swamp in Florida where many alligators also hang out.  The egrets and the alligators live peaceably.  In fact, the alligators prevent predators like snakes from climbing the trees and eating the young egrets.

Dad was able to navigate the swamp by boardwalk and using a very long lens to capture this tender moment.
